September Kids Snow Festival Thredbo 2026

The September Kids Snow Festival fills the NSW spring school holidays with a combination of skiing, snow play, evening entertainment and family activities around Thredbo. Rather than being centred on one single attraction, the festival spreads activities across the resort, giving families something different to do throughout a multi-day stay. Many festival activities are free, while some attractions and Thredbo Leisure Centre experiences carry separate charges.

Cost: Many of the scheduled festival activities are free. Lift passes, Alpine Coaster rides, Leisure Centre activities, LED flares and some additional experiences are charged separately.

What’s included: The 2026 school-holiday program currently features a broad mix of outdoor, indoor and evening activities. Some activity dates remain subject to confirmation or weather.

Because the Kids Snow Festival runs for more than two weeks and activities are spread throughout the day and into the evening, staying in Thredbo is particularly convenient for families.
