Held annually on the third Saturday in November, Adaminaby Cup Race Day brings traditional country racing to one of the Snowy Mountains’ smaller high-country communities. The Snow Goose Cup is the feature race, supported by fashions on the field, prizes and family activities. The racecourse also has a connection to Australian film history, having been used to portray the Mexican racecourse in scenes depicting Phar Lap’s final race.
